What we collect

Reading RatingVerdict does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name or email to use the site. The data we process is limited to:

• Technical log data, IP address, browser type, and requested pages, processed by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to deliver the site securely.
• Referral data, when you arrive from a link or advertisement, we may record the source (for example, a search engine or campaign identifier) in a first-party cookie so that, if you later click an offer, the retailer knows the visit came from us. Details are in our Cookie Notice.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Legal basis

We process technical data on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), operating a secure, functioning website and measuring, in aggregate, which recommendations our readers find useful.

Affiliate links

When you click a "Check Price" link, you leave our site and the retailer's or affiliate network's own privacy policy applies. The identifier we pass along tells them the click came from RatingVerdict; it does not include your name or contact details.

Your rights
