Our approach
RatingVerdict works without advertising trackers and without third-party analytics cookies. We use the minimum necessary for the site to function and for our recommendations to be attributable when you choose to follow one.
Cookies we set
- Attribution cookie (first-party, max 60 days), remembers how you found us (for example, from a search engine or a campaign) so that if you later click a "Check Price" link, the retailer can credit the referral to RatingVerdict. It contains a random identifier, not your name or contact details.
- Cloudflare security cookies, set by our hosting platform to protect the site against abuse. These are strictly necessary and expire quickly.
Third-party cookies
We set none. When you click through to a retailer, their own cookie policy applies on their site.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site remains fully readable without them. Blocking the attribution cookie simply means your purchase will not be credited to us.
