How we make money

RatingVerdict is reader-supported. When you click a "Check Price" button and buy the device, the retailer or its affiliate network pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, the price is the same whether you arrive through our link or not.

What commissions never do

• They never change a device's score, every score comes from the same published formula on our methodology page.
• They never change a device's position in a ranking.
• They never decide which devices we include. Rankings regularly contain devices with no affiliate program at all, listed at their honest position.

How you can tell

Every page containing affiliate links carries a disclosure notice. Devices without a partner offer are marked "Not sold via partners", they are scored and ranked identically.

Why we work this way

Our only durable asset is your trust in the verdicts. A commission is worth one sale; a reader who returns before the next purchase is worth every sale after it. The incentives only work in your favour if the scoring is untouchable, so it is.
